Creation Has a Heart Beat

This poem is another view of how the process of manifestation between the formless and the form moves. In this poem, the metaphor I am using is the heart and the pumping of life through the sound and action of a heart beat.

There is a heartbeat
that is the resonance
 of all creation.
Synchronizing
The movement
of expansion and contraction
The life force of
all that is
and could be.

With each beat
The heart fills
expanding in all possibilities
without form.

There is a pause…
A waiting and a holding

Then…
The heart releases outward
contracting and creating
all form
Nourishing that which is created.

There is a pause…
A waiting and a holding…

Then…
The heart fills
deconstructing creation
back into
all possibilities.

The heartbeat tunes
all that is
with rhythm and movement
Of the love of the Creator.

Rev Paulette Robinson, PhD has been a contemplative shamanic practitioner for over 20 years. She is dedicated to the energetic healing, integration and well-being of her clients.
