How Do I Manifest My World Part 1
“How do I manifest my world?” is a popular topic these days and has been the subject of spiritual discussions in the world’s religions for millennia. The popular literature has examples of positive thinking, manifestation through affirmations, vision boards, etc. The question is focused more on how do I manifest a relationship, a new house, a new job; the things I thinkthat will satisfy my desire to make my life and/or my family’s life better. I want to explore what this process of manifestation looks like.
This introduction is the first of seven parts describing my understanding of intention and manifestation. There are 5 key components of the manifestation process: 1) intention, 2) vibration/emotion, 3) time, 4) scope and 5) surrender. They will be the subject of each part in the series on intention and manifestation. The final part of the series will focus on how you can effectively manifest your world.
Co-creation
Formless (All Possibilities ) —> Form (Manifestation, The World As I know it)
Intention
Intention is the blueprint or scaffolding upon which we manifest the world at each moment. Since we live in a manifested world, we are consciously or unconsciously aware of co-creating the world we live in. If the pattern is unconscious, we find ourselves living out the same chaos or pain over and over. We live out patterns that are familiar. In part 2 of this series, I will explore in more depth how we create the blueprints or patterns that form the structures from which our world comes into being.
Vibration/Emotion
While intention forms the blueprint, emotion is the impetus or energy that propels manifestation forward. Emotion or vibration sent with passion, desire and belief energizes the process. Lower level vibrations of energy such as fear, anger, depression are often unconscious and manifest patterns that produce situations that replicate these emotions. The higher-level vibrations such as joy, gratitude, compassion and love manifest patterns or life situations that not only replicate these emotions, but often have a healing effect for others. In part 3 of this series I will explore emotion and intensity and its role in manifestation.
Time
Time is a component of manifestation. The formless, where all possibilities are possible stands outside of space and time. It is a quantum field. Time is interesting because the past is already been lived and the future only exists in our capacity to dream. Yet, we manifest our world at every moment. There is a linkage and context within a continuum of memory and dream. Manifestation occurs at the perfect time outside of my wishes, plans or yearning. In part 4, I will discuss the relationship of time to manifestation.
Scope
Since we do not exist alone in the world, manifestation can and does have an effect on larger systems beyond myself. If I am angry, I can create an angry and hurt family. If I live my life with authentic joy, I can affect the sense of joy outward to those around me. To see the scope within which I manifest is awareness. As I become more aware, I can see the complexity of systems around me. When I can see this complexity, I know how I affect them. In part 5 of this series, I will explore in more depth how manifestation consciously or unconsciously affects larger systems.
Surrender
Finally, there is a part of the manifestation process that requires surrender. It is like a black box of creative mystery that produces from an intention the world that I see. I have tried to manipulate, peek-in or even tweak the process believing I can hurry it along. Time and again I have found that it unfolds as it will. Manifestation occurs and is influenced within ever more complex systems all manifesting together. In part 6, I will discuss surrender and its relationship to manifestation in more detail.
How to Manifest
In part 7 of the series, I will describe a process on how to consciously manifest your world based on all of the above principles. Stay tuned.
